Approach from the lake in daylight, sand bottom in about 3 to 6 m. Shelter from W, SW and S winds, exposed to the bise from the NE. No buoyed channel.
Practical
Anchorage only, no service. Port de Sciez 0.2 NM to the east offers visitor berths, water and fuel. Château de Coudrée stands 0.1 NM to the west on the shoreline.
Ashore
Château de Coudrée, a thirteenth century keep rebuilt in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, stands 200 m from the water behind its park. Plage de Coudrée lies immediately east of the castle, and the village of Sciez with shops is at 1 km by the lakeside path.
