Small municipal harbour of 20 berths on the south shore of the Étang de Berre, at the mouth of the Cadière river in Marignane.

Guide

Approach and anchoring

Brackish inland lagoon connected to the sea by the Canal de Caronte. Shallow waters across much of the étang, keep to marked channels. Strong mistral blows from NW across the lagoon, building short steep chop.

Practical

20 berths, most reserved for local boats. Water at pontoon. Town centre and shops 500 m inland. Marseille Provence airport 2 km north, expect aircraft noise on approach.
