Guide

Approach and anchoring

Access via the Étang de Berre, reached from the sea through the Canal de Caronte at Martigues. Shallow inland lagoon, max draught around 2 m at the berths. Watch for the mistral which builds short steep chop over the étang.

Practical

Pontoon berths for local boats, mainly small craft. Port de Marignane lies 2.3 nm SE and Port du Sagnas 3.4 nm NW for alternative shelter.
