Approach and anchoring
Anchor on sand with rock patches outside the harbour. Protection from N, NE and NW; open to S and SE. Approach straight in from the south, keeping clear of the rocky headlands on either side. No night lighting on the anchorage itself.
Practical
Water point available. Fuel and full services not on site: the Société Nautique les Figuières is 0.5 NM E, Carry-le-Rouet 3 NM W for diesel. Train station of Ensuès-la-Redonne on the Marseille to Miramas coastal line, a 15-minute walk uphill.
Ashore
Calanque d'Ensuès-la-Redonne immediately north of the port. The Sentier des Douaniers crosses the village and links Niolon to Carry-le-Rouet along the cliffs. Village bakery and small grocery at the top of the hill.
