Rock anchorage in the Calanque d'Ensues-la-Redonne, on the Cote Bleue west of Marseille, within the Parc Marin de la Cote Bleue.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the southeast through the calanque entrance. Rocky bottom, so the anchor often catches between blocks; check the hold before leaving the boat. Protection from northwest through north to northeast; exposed to the south sector. Marine reserve rules apply: no fishing, reduced speed inside the calanque.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services. Calanque d'Ensues-la-Redonne 0.3 NM northeast for a small harbour and village, and the Societe Nautique les Figuieres 0.7 NM east.
Ashore
Coastal path GR 51 along the cliffs of the Cote Bleue accessible from La Redonne village, with views over the calanques and the Marseille bay.
