Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Golfe du Lion, entrance facing south into the calanque. Shallow harbour with maximum draught 0.9 m, unsuitable for deeper keelboats. VHF channel 2. Exposed to southerly swell rolling into the inlet.
Practical
60 berths, mostly for local boats. Water at quayside. Railway station Niolon on the Marseille to Miramas coastal line, 5 minute walk uphill. UCPA diving centre on the quay.
Ashore
Sentier des douaniers along the Côte Bleue coastline, westward to the calanques of Petit Méjean 1.9 NM and Figuières 2.1 NM. Diving sites on the drop-offs of the marine park. Small restaurants on the harbour front.
