Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west, keeping clear of the rocks off Pointe du Van. The bottom is rock, so anchor holding is poor and kelp patches foul the fluke. Use only in settled weather with winds from NW, N or NE. Exposed to any southerly or westerly swell from the Iroise Sea.
Practical
No facilities. A short slipway and a few local fishing punts use the cove. Audierne lies 5.1 nm east for fuel, water and provisions.
Ashore
The GR 34 coastal path runs along the cliff above the cove. Pointe du Van with its Saint-They chapel is 1 km north on foot, and the Baie des Trépassés beach is 1.5 km south. Pointe du Raz lighthouse stands 3 km south-east.
