Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west staying clear of the Plateau du Four lighthouse sector and the rocks off the point. Seabed is rock, so holding is unreliable. Shelter from N, NE and E only. Abandon the anchorage on any shift to SW or W.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Le Croisic fishing port lies 1.4 nm east with a tidal harbour, water, fuel and shops. The fish auction, the Criee, is active daily at dawn.
Ashore
Le Croisic old town at 1.4 nm east, with 15th and 16th century houses around the Mont-Esprit salt mound. Salt marshes of Guerande 6 km east, working since the 9th century. Coastal path from the Pointe to the Trait du Croisic beach in about 40 minutes on foot.
