Approach and anchoring
Approach over shallow mudflats south of the Passage du Gois sector. Large tidal range, drying banks at low water springs. Stand off until the flood to reach holding ground. No night buoyage inshore.
Practical
Open roadstead, no facilities. Shelter at Port des Brochets 1,4 NM south or Port du Collet 2 NM east if wind backs to S or SE.
