Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north along the rocky coast between Pornic and Sainte-Marie-sur-Mer. Exposed to W and SW winds and swell. Pick up a visitor buoy where available or clear of the swimming zone.
Practical
Buoy mooring in sand. No services on the beach. The Vieux Port of Pornic and Port de Gourmalon are both 3.5 NM to the NW with fuel, water and chandlery.
Ashore
The sentier des Douaniers coastal path runs above the beach towards Pornic old town in 2.5 km. Shops and restaurants in Sainte-Marie-sur-Mer at 1 km.
