Approach from seaward on a rising tide, as the baie de Bourgneuf dries over large areas at low water. Shelter holds from NE, E and SE; exposed to W and SW swell. Watch the oyster beds marked by stakes throughout the bay.

No services on site. Port du Collet 1.9 nm SE offers pontoons, water and small shops. Port des Brochets 2.8 nm S is a drying port accessible only near high water.
