Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom. Sheltered from NW, N and NE winds. Exposed to the S and SE, and to the strong tidal streams of the Morbihan entrance, which run up to 8 knots on springs between Port-Navalo and Locmariaquer. Enter and leave on slack water or with the fair tide.
Practical
35 buoys managed locally. Locmariaquer village 0.9 NM to the north with bakery, shops and slipway. Port-Navalo 1.3 NM to the east.
Ashore
Site mégalithique de Locmariaquer with the Grand Menhir Brisé and the Table des Marchands at 1 km, operated by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. Pointe de Kerpenhir with its Notre-Dame de Kerdro statue at 700 m.
