Approach and anchoring
Approach inside the gulf mindful of the strong tidal streams at the Port-Navalo entrance. Holding is good on sand. Exposed to N and E sectors, so shift to the other side of the gulf if the wind turns.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Ponton du Blair is 0.6 NM NW for a quick landing. Locmariaquer village lies 0.9 NM SW with shops, fuel by the bar and harbour services.
Ashore
Locmariaquer holds the neolithic site of the Grand Menhir Brisé, the Table des Marchands dolmen and the Er Grah tumulus, all within walking distance of the village centre.
