Guide
Approach and anchoring
Entry from the S via the Baie de La Forêt, keeping clear of the rocks off Cap Coz to the west. Sand seabed with good holding. Shelter from N, NE, E, NW and W; exposed to S and SE winds which push swell into the bay.
Practical
Mouillage forain without facilities. Port-la-Forêt marina 1.5 nm to the NW and the Cap Coz anchorage 1.2 nm to the W both offer a fallback if the wind veers S.
Ashore
Kernous beach and the coastal path of Fouesnant run along the shore. The Cap Coz isthmus and its beaches are a short walk or dinghy ride to the W. Fouesnant village with shops lies a few kilometres inland.
