Approach from the south through the buoyed channel into the bay of Concarneau. Sand holding. No recorded protection sector, exposed to S winds rolling into the bay. Concarneau port is 0.3 nm NE, Cap Coz 2.6 nm NW as alternative.

The Ville Close, a walled granite town begun in the 14th century on an islet in the harbour, is reached on foot from the landing. Musée de la Pêche in the old arsenal documents the tuna and sardine fleet. Fish market on the quai Carnot.
