Approach and anchoring
Approach from seaward in clear visibility. Holding is on sand. The roadstead is exposed to the E and S sectors and the libeccio swell wraps round when the wind turns SW to S, so leave at the first sign of an easterly shift.
Practical
No facilities at the anchorage. Port Taverna lies 9.9 nm to the S for a full service marina. Bastia Vieux Port is 12.1 nm to the N for supplies and ferry connections.
