Approach from the Baie de Douarnenez, rounding the Pointe de Saint-Hernot. Sand bottom with good holding. Sheltered from SW, W and NW. Fully exposed to the east and to swell from the Baie de Douarnenez.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services. Morgat marina 1.4 nm NE for berths, water and fuel. Camaret-sur-Mer Bassin du Nautique 5.3 nm NW as alternative refuge.

Maison des Minéraux at Saint-Hernot, 600 m inland, regional geology collection. GR 34 coastal path to the Cap de la Chèvre memorial to naval aviation 1.8 km south.
