Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south via the baie de Douarnenez, keeping clear of the rocky shoreline that gives the point its name. Bottom is rock, holding is poor, use with caution and a trip line. Shelter from N, NE and NW winds only.
Practical
No services on site. Morgat marina lies 0.9 nm SW for berths, water and fuel. Camaret-sur-Mer Bassin du Nautique is 5 nm NW across the Cap de la Chevre.
Ashore
Coastal path GR 34 runs along the cliff edge above the anchorage and leads to Morgat village in about 20 minutes on foot. The sea caves of Morgat, including the Grotte de l'Autel, lie just to the south and are visited by tripper boats from Morgat.
