Bonifacio, Lavezzi and the far south

12 places · Corsica

Bonifacio, a fjord between the cliffs, is the most spectacular harbour in the Mediterranean and the most expensive in Corsica in August. Around it: Cala di Paragan, Sant'Amanza, Rondinara, and the Lavezzi, a nature reserve where you moor on buoys and never over seagrass. The Strait of Bonifacio blows hard from west and east alike: check the window before crossing to Sardinia.
