Approach and anchoring
Enter the gulf from SE. The southern field sits closer to Punta di Folaca, giving better shelter from west and NW than the northern field, with southerly exposure in onshore swell. Sand and weed bottom. VHF 9 for buoy allocation. Porto-Vecchio lies 4 NM N.

30 buoys, water on the buoys, no other services. Tender landing on Plage de Santa Giulia. Beach restaurants on the southern arc of the bay.

Southern end of Plage de Santa Giulia, 1.5 km of sand. Coastal path south to the creeks of Carataggio and on towards Golfe de Rondinara over roughly 6 km. Porto-Vecchio old town 9 km by road.
