Guide
Approach and anchoring
Rock bottom, poor holding. Approach from the south with caution and anchor on the sand patch, as elsewhere the anchor jams among the rocks. A rock with only 1.4 metres over it lies about 30 metres ESE of the point and is not shown on all charts. Sheltered from N, NE and E winds, exposed to southerly and westerly swell, so a fair-weather daytime stop only.
Practical
No facilities. Tizzano lies 2.8 nm to the E and the harbour of Propriano 8.8 nm to the NE serve as refuges if the wind veers south or west.
Ashore
A path leads up to the lighthouse on the point, where a gîte has a terrace serving a drink during opening hours. A small beach at the head of the cove allows a dinghy landing, though the water there is shallow.
