Guide

Approach and anchoring

Sand in 5 to 8 m, easy to spot, with few rocks and good holding. Good shelter in strong westerlies and the maestrale. In September 2024 a yacht on nearly 60 m of chain in 8 m rode out over 51 kn. Swimming buoys lie about 200 to 250 m off the beach and boats anchor outside them. Water-skiing made the bay noisy at the end of the day in 2021, and the northern end was quieter.

Practical

Rubbish bins on the beach are reachable by dinghy. In 2023 a dinghy could be left on the smaller beach 100 m north of the main one, not only for drop-off. No other facilities were found ashore in June 2024.
