Approach and anchoring
Anchor in 2 to 4 m on sand with very good holding. An anchor held through 40 kn and gusts of 60 kn in March 2026. Submerged rocks lie in the middle of the entrance. Large rocks in the anchorage area are marked on the chart. A yacht left its anchor and chain wrapped round rocks in 2025. In 2024 a water-sports area on one side was closed to anchoring. Superyacht tenders and RIBs cross the bay at speed, by day and into the night.
Practical
The private buoys are costly for large yachts, and were not laid in March 2026. Water is available at the pontoon. Dinghies can be left in front of the boat hire place. In 2025 the jetty hired bikes for 20 euros and 125 cc scooters for 40 euros. Porto Cervo or a supermarket is 10 minutes away. A taxi to Porto Cervo cost 60 to 70 euros one way in 2025. Hotels line the shore, and one beach café opened in April 2025.
