Saint-Martin and St. Barts: anchorages and marine reserves

18 places · Saint-Martin and St. Barts

On the French side of Saint-Martin, clear in at Marigot, at Marina Fort Louis or the Galisbay port, or at the Anse Marcel marina. Inside the nature reserve, Pinel has 15 yellow buoys for boats up to 12 metres and 10 tonnes, and boats under 10 metres may still anchor on sand. Enter by the Green Cay pass. At Creole Rock it is buoys only, with no landing. St. Barts is about 15 miles away: clear in at the Gustavia harbour office, channel 12, even when coming from Saint-Martin. In Colombier and Fourchue, the ecological moorings take boats up to 25 metres and 20 tonnes for 96 hours at most.
