Full-service marina on Harris Island in York Harbour, southern Maine, with slips, valet rack storage and a fuel berth.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
York Harbour sits up the York River behind Stage Neck, the most sheltered harbour between Portsmouth and Portland. The entrance carries a sharp turn in strong tidal current with ledges either side, and a fixed bridge of 15 feet clearance closes the river above. The York River runs 7 to 9 feet of tidal range; do not attempt entry in fog or at night.
Practical
Marina store, fuel berth selling ValvTect fuels, summer dockage, weekly transient space and valet rack service. Authorised service centre for Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude and Honda outboards. Operating since 1955. Pepperrell Cove lies 3.9 miles SW.
History
The marina has worked the southern Maine and New Hampshire seacoast since 1955 and has held the Boston Whaler dealership for over 50 years.
