Approach and anchoring
Sheltered bay on the west side of the lake, opposite the Vermont shore. Open approach from the south; some exposure to north winds funnelling down the lake. No tide on Lake Champlain.
Practical
Over 40 transient berths plus moorings. Petrol and diesel at the fuel dock, pump-out, propane refills, 30 and 50 amp shore power, showers, laundry. 25-ton open boat hoist for hull and gel-coat work, year-round repair shop. Powerboat and kayak hire on site.
Ashore
Five-minute walk to Westport village shops, grocery, library and the Heritage House welcome centre. Galley Restaurant on the marina deck for lakeside dining. Adirondack trailheads within driving distance for hikers.
