Approach and anchoring
Knapp's Narrows cuts across the northern end of Tilghman Island, linking the Chesapeake Bay to the Choptank River without rounding Blackwalnut Point. A bascule bridge spans the narrows. The cut shoals and dredging history should be checked before transit.
Practical
Over 100 berths for boats up to 150ft, with shore power, water, cable and wifi. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel, pump-out, heads, showers, coin laundry and a ship's store. St. Michaels lies about 6.8nm to the north-east for further berths.
