Approach and anchoring

Pentwater Lake connects to Lake Michigan through a dredged channel buffered by two concrete piers, each carrying a pierhead light. The marina lies on the south shore off Hancock Street, well inside the sheltered lake.

Practical

54 berths, of which about 20 are transient, on fixed and floating pontoons. Fuel berth, pump-out, heads, showers, laundry, ice and a chandlery on site, plus a boatyard offering repair, storage and brokerage.

Ashore

Downtown Pentwater is within walking distance for shops, eating places and provisions. Charles Mears State Park, with a Lake Michigan beach, lies on the far side of the village.
