Approach and anchoring
Entered from Lake Michigan through the breakwater channel into Pere Marquette Lake, then along the north shore next to Waterfront Park and the municipal marina. A deep-water basin with no tidal restriction.
Practical
About 160 berths for boats up to 18 metres, plus wall ties for vessels up to 30 metres. A 7,000 sq ft clubhouse holds a ship's store, showers, laundry, gym and library. There is a pool and spa, Wi-Fi, grills, picnic tables, a fish-cleaning station and a dog run.
Ashore
Downtown Ludington shops, restaurants, a convenience store and a cinema are within walking distance. Waterfront Park, with its sculpture trail, lies next to the marina.
