Approach and anchoring
Pentwater Lake is reached from Lake Michigan through a dredged channel about 150 feet wide, marked by two pierhead lights, a green flashing light on the north pier and a flashing light on the south pier. The marina lies on the south shore off Hancock Street.
Practical
44 berths on fixed and floating pontoons, of which roughly 22 are transient, for vessels up to 45 feet. Shore power at 30 and 50 amp, fresh water, pump-out, heads and showers. The office is staffed from late May to early September.
Ashore
Downtown Pentwater is a few minutes' walk for shops, eating places and provisions. Charles Mears State Park, with a Lake Michigan beach, is on the west side of the village.
