Approach and anchoring
The harbour opens onto Smithtown Bay on Long Island Sound. A shoal runs the length of the shoreline in 12 to 20 feet of water, and the entrance between the jetties shoals at low water, so most boats enter and leave near high water.
Practical
The club rents docks, slips and moorings to members and runs a clubhouse. Founded in 1954.
