Approach and anchoring

From the Chesapeake Bay, follow the marked Sassafras River channel about seven miles upriver to Georgetown. The marina lies on the river, with 40 berths kept for visiting boats. Sheltered water with no significant tidal range.

Practical

Facilities include a fuel berth, ship store, an on-site restaurant and a marine service department that is a Mercury repower centre. Showers and laundry are extensive, with 28 tiled showers and private heads. A swimming pool, children's pool, tennis and basketball courts and picnic areas complete the resort layout.
