Mud bottom, sheltered from north-west through east winds and open to the south. Follow the buoyed river channel up from the bay to mark 14, then turn for the marinas. Skipjack Cove Marina lies 1.6 miles east and Duffy Creek Marina 1.8 miles east.

Practical

Skipjack Cove Marina has 365 berths, a fuel dock with petrol and diesel, a ship store and the waterfront restaurant Signals. It monitors VHF 16. Duffy Creek Marina nearby offers a further option for fuel and provisions.
