Approach and anchoring
Directly on the Intracoastal Waterway at the Wilmington River bend, close to ICW marker 35. Floating docks carry about 12 feet on the approach and 10 feet alongside.
Practical
Around 100 wet berths with a few transient slips, taking vessels to 65 feet. Petrol and diesel at the fuel berth, pump-out, 30 and 50 amp shore power, water, WiFi, showers, laundry and a restaurant. Operated by MarineMax, telephone 912 897-3625.
Ashore
Thunderbolt's waterfront and its seafood restaurants line River Drive within walking distance. Downtown Savannah is about 5 miles to the north-west.
