Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Wilmington River by way of Turner's Creek, a short run east of the ICW. The creek is tidal, so check the rise before a low-water approach with any draught.
Practical

Ashore
Tybee Island beach lies roughly 11 miles east by road. Downtown Savannah and its historic district are about 10 miles to the west.
