Guide

Approach and anchoring

Enter from Broad Creek and work up the well-marked creek channel. Holding is good in mud and the creek is sheltered from every quarter, making it an all-weather hurricane hole. Room for several boats to swing.

Ashore

A free dinghy dock at the head of the creek leads to a 10-minute walk into St. Michaels, with shops, restaurants and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. St. Michaels Marina and Higgins Yacht Yard both lie about 1 mile NE by water.
