Approach and anchoring
Access from the petite rade de Toulon via the passe between Saint-Mandrier and La Seyne, then turn south into the baie du Lazaret. Maximum draught 0.8 m, the shallowest of the baie's three marinas. VHF channel 9.
Practical
183 berths. Shallow draught limits the port to light craft and tenders. Refuges close by: Port Pin Rolland 0.4 NM to the NE and Le Lazaret 0.4 NM to the north.
Ashore
Fort Saint-Elme, built under Louis XIV in 1672 to guard the western approach to the rade, sits on the headland above the marina. Coastal path to the plage de la Verne 600 m south. Buses to La Seyne-sur-Mer from the Saint-Elme stop, 300 m from the port.
