Approach and anchoring

The shoreline lies inside the outer rade of Toulon, open from the NE and E, with shelter from NW, N and W winds off the hills behind. Mooring balls and swim lines mark the protected bathing area from June to September, and anchoring inside is forbidden. Seabed is sand with Posidonia patches, which are protected under French law and must not be anchored on.

Practical

No yacht facilities on the beach itself. Port de Saint-Elme lies 0.8 NM to the E with visitor berths and basic services. Le Lazaret anchorage is 1 NM to the NE and offers a permitted holding area on sand.
