Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, seaward of the Cap Sicié massif. Sand bottom. Shelter from NW, N and W sectors behind the massif; exposed to the south and south-east swell, to quit with any easterly.
Practical
No facilities. Saint-Elme harbour lies 1.7 NM to the NE and Le Lazaret 1.9 NM NE for water, provisions and refuge. Holding in 4 to 7 metres of sand.
Ashore
The beach is only reachable on foot by the sentier du littoral from Le Brusc or by sea, within the Forêt domaniale de Janas and the Natura 2000 site Cap Sicié - Six-Fours. Notre-Dame du Mai chapel stands at 352 m on the cape, a traditional sailors' landmark since the 17th century.
