Rocky shoal off the Côte de Granit Rose in north Brittany, marked as a prohibited mooring zone. Port-Blanc lies 0.9 nm south.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach with care. The plateau is strewn with drying rocks and kelp. Holding is on rock, unsuitable for anchoring. Shelter from S and SE only; fully exposed to N and W swell from the Channel. Use Port-Blanc's marked channel into the bay to the south rather than stopping on site.
Practical
No facilities. Anchoring is forbidden here. Boats heading for the coast should continue 0.9 nm south to Port-Blanc moorings, or 1.1 nm to Port Blanc harbour for water, fuel and shops.
