Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the north between the Île Tomé and the mainland. Rocky shoals on both sides of the fairway; keep to the buoyed channel. The harbour dries completely at low water; entry for keel boats within HW plus or minus 2 hours 30. Exposed to winds from NW through N to NE.

Practical

Moorings on fore-and-aft buoys, allocation through the local sailing committee. Slipway usable around high water. Water point on the quay. Small grocer and bakery in the village 500 metres inland. Fuel at Perros-Guirec, 7 km by road.

Ashore

Plage de Trestel 600 metres east, fine sand bay with beach huts. GR34 coastal path runs along the cliffs towards Port-Blanc to the north-east, 4 km section. Trestel sailing school on the beach runs dinghy hire in season.
