Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from seaward between Île Rousse and Saint-Florent, keeping clear of the rocky heads off the point. Drop in 4 to 8 metres on clean sand. Open to the west and NW, so untenable when the libeccio builds.
Practical
No services. Nearest provisioning at Île Rousse 7 NM SW or Saint-Florent 9.9 NM E. Water taxi from Saint-Florent serves some Agriates beaches in summer.
Ashore
The anchorage fronts the uninhabited Désert des Agriates, a protected coastal area managed by the Conservatoire du littoral. Sentier des douaniers follows the shoreline west toward Plage de Saleccia and east toward Plage du Loto.
