Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom, good holding in 4 to 8 metres close to the shore. Shelter from the land sector N; open to W, E, SW, S and SE, so a daytime stop in settled weather only. No lights, approach by day.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no services. Nearest shelter is L'Île-Rousse 6.5 nm to the SW and Saint-Florent 10.5 nm to the E.
Ashore
The anchorage sits inside the Conservatoire du littoral land of the Agriates. Plage de Saleccia, one of the best known beaches of the Agriates, lies about 2 nm to the E and is reached on foot by the Sentier des Douaniers that follows the coast.
