Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from offshore with good light; the bay opens between low rocky headlands and has a clean sand bottom. Drop in 5 to 10 metres on sand, holding is good. Fully exposed to N and NW swell, and the anchorage is only usable in settled weather with wind from E round through S to SW.
Practical
No services. Saint-Florent is 10.2 nm to the east for marina, fuel and shops; Île-Rousse is 6.7 nm to the SW.
Ashore
The bay is part of the Agriates coastline managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral. A coastal footpath runs behind the dunes and connects the string of Agriates beaches, including Plage du Loto and Plage de Saleccia further east.
