Approach and anchoring
Mixed sand and rock bottom. Find a sand patch between the slabs and dive the anchor in settled conditions. The cove is wide open to N and NW and untenable in mistral or tramontane; protections run from E through S to SW.
Practical
No services. The nearest ports are Saint-Florent at 8.5 nm east and Port privé Mare e Stagnu at 8.7 nm east.
Ashore
Coastal footpath of the Agriates passes above the cove and links Malfacu to the Plage du Lotu and Plage de Saleccia further east. The Agriates inland is a scrub landscape of maquis managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral with no beach-level road access.
