Approach and anchoring
From San Francisco Bay enter the Oakland-Alameda estuary and follow the marked channel along the Oakland shore. The marina lies on the north bank at 13 Embarcadero West, before the Park Street bridge. Listens on VHF 16. No bridges or locks on the approach from the Bay.
Practical
Around 60 berths from 6 to 18 metres. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol, water and shore power on the pontoons, sewage pump-out and a launching ramp. Marine repair shop on site. 72-hour free parking ashore.
Ashore
Jack London Square 400 m west on foot along the Embarcadero, with ferry terminal for San Francisco, the Saturday farmers market and restaurants. Oakland Amtrak station at 500 m for trains down the peninsula. Downtown Oakland and BART at about 1 km.
