Approach and anchoring
Enter the Oakland Estuary from San Francisco Bay between the Bay Bridge and Alameda. The dock sits on the Alameda shore near Mariner Square, about 1.5 miles inside the estuary entrance. Strong tidal current runs through the channel; mind ferry and commercial traffic.
Practical
Four berths, draught up to 3 m. Short-stay public use only, no on-site fuel or chandlery. Mariner Square Marina lies 0.1 nm SE, Jack London Square Marina 0.2 nm NE for fuel, water and provisioning.
