Approach and anchoring
Enter from San Francisco Bay through the estuary, keeping the channel buoys to starboard. The marina sits on the south bank just past the entrance, before the Park Street bridge. No tidal lock. Park Street bridge upstream opens on request for taller rigs.
Practical
Wet berths take boats from 12 to 45 metres. Dry-stack storage for trailerable craft up to about 9 metres, launched on demand by forklift. Office on 2415 Mariner Square Drive. Mix of recreational and live-aboard berth-holders.
Ashore
Mariner Square shopping centre on the doorstep with chandlery, restaurants and a supermarket within 400 m. Jack London Square across the estuary by water taxi or a 2 km drive over the Webster tube. Downtown Oakland is five minutes by car.
