Approach and anchoring

From the Oakland Estuary, the marina sits at 499 Embarcadero & 1 Fifth Avenue, just east of Jack London Square and west of Brooklyn Basin. Approach with caution at low water and stay south of the federal channel. Commercial barges and ferries use the estuary daily.

Practical

About 100 berths, mostly long term. Limited transient berthing, contact the harbour master in advance. Basic services on the docks. No fuel berth on site, nearest diesel and petrol at Grand Marina, around 1 nautical mile east on the Alameda side.

Ashore

Jack London Square restaurants and the ferry terminal to San Francisco are 1.5 km west on foot. The Lake Merritt BART station is 2 km north. Brooklyn Basin parks and waterfront promenade are accessible directly along the estuary.
