Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north-west. The cove is sheltered from NW through N to E but fully open to the south-west. Bottom is mixed sand, rock and kelp: drop on a clear patch of sand and check holding before leaving the boat. Keep clear of the rocky edges of the cove. Port-Tudy, the main harbour of Groix, lies 1.8 NM to the north-east and takes visitors in the outer basin if the weather turns.
Ashore
Coastal path GR 34 crosses the headland above the cove and leads west toward Pen-Men lighthouse, roughly 2 km along the cliff. Village of Locmaria and the main town of Groix inland within walking distance for bakery and small shops.
